Offerings From the Garden
Seeds

We've saved seeds from some of our easiest to grow flowers!

Echinacea also known as cone flower, is a perennial. It makes a beautiful cut flower and pollinators love it! It's also used as a medicinal plant with purported immune boosting properties.

Rudbeckia also known as Black Eyed Susan is a perennial that doesn't ask for much care but gives a lot in return.

Zinna, cut a few off and even more bloom!
Pollinators love these. They make a great cut flower. They are annuals and bloom until the first frost. Because of cross pollination with other Zinnia varieties, your Zinnia, may or may not be the same color as the ones pictured but they'll be just as beautiful!

Potted Plants
Available in the spring
Sage

Sage is an herb that always seems to make its appearance around the holidays. It's what gives turkey and dressing that classic taste. But it has other uses too! (lemon sage cookies, anyone?) Every spring we offer rooted cuttings from our "mother" plant. This plant is very hardy. It's been through freezing winters and triple digits summers. Add some sage to your garden. You'll be glad you did!
$5 per plant
Lemon Balm
Rub the leaves between your fingers and you'll think you've cut into a fresh lemon! Use fresh or dried. Makes a nice herbal tea. Regrows year after year.
$5 per plant

Thornless Blackberry

Sweet, big, juicy and prolific. Once these plants get established, they make multiple off-shoots. Get ready for a bounty of blackberries!
$10 per plant

Egyptian Walking Onion
Also known as multiplier onions. Plant some of these and you'll most likely always have onions. These things multiply like crazy. Keep them in a pot if you don't want them to spring up all over. Use the tops as you would green onions.
$5 per plant

Figs are scrumptious fresh off the tree or dried and they make great appetizers and preserves.
We've come to believe our tree is a Chicago Hardy. It does well in the summer heat and comes back after severe winters. It doesn't seem to be bothered by pests. In the spring we take cuttings from it, root and pot them.
$12 per tree (quart size pot)
